Other than bar bands and karaoke, entertainment can be tough to come by, on the North Beach. So it is we welcome…live theater! A Stage West production starting this weekend:

“The Immigrant Garden: Letters” by Caroline Wood, a 90-minute staged reading. Set in 1910-1911 and told through an exchange of letters between 17-year-old Cecily Barnes of Washington, and 70-something Louise Beauchamp of Yorkshire, this is the story of an English garden and the hearts that grew it.

Directed by Lorraine Hardin, all performances will be held at the Ocean Shores Lions Club at 832 Ocean Shores Blvd NW. Doors open 30 minutes prior to the show.
Performances are 7:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, March 18, 19, 25 and 26 and 2:00 pm on Sundays, March 20 and 27. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students. Tickets are available online at http://www.stagewestcommunitytheatre.org, Dusty Trunk on Point Brown Blvd, Mocha Madness, and at the door.
