In my professional career, I do or did,
In my professional life I was a problem solver. I was a regional trouble shooter for Otis elevator for eighteen years and in the industry for forty two years (electrical engineer). I also taught for the industries apprenticeship program for thirteen years and a continuing education provider for Labor and Industries for the State of Washington for the past eleven years.
I have lived in Ocean shores since;
My wife and I have been full-time residents of Ocean Shores since 2012, and property owners since 1999. Over the last nine years, volunteering in our community has been one of our top priorities.
I moved here because,
The best decision I ever made was retiring here in Ocean Shores. We love the beach, the wildlife, our lakes and canals and most of all the people. For us, this is a small slice of heaven.
A little known fact about me is,
I was an Iditarod photographer for nine years photographing both the norther and southern Iditarod routes. It’s cold in Nome Alaska!
