I have worked in the public sector for almost 30 years. 8 years with the Port of Grays Harbor and 21+ at the City of Aberdeen, where I still am today.
I am the Director of Community Development for the City of Aberdeen where I oversee the Building, Code Compliance, Planning and Property Maintenance Divisions.
2. I have lived in Ocean Shores since (year)
I moved to Ocean Shores in 2013 and with the exception of 2 years in the middle (where I moved out in the County) have been ever since.
3. I moved here because (fill in the blank)
I chose to move to Ocean Shores because I love the people, the city and the beach life.
My favorite tag line as I watch the visitor’s leave on a Sunday, is that “I get to stay.”
4. A little-known-fact about me is (hat size, distant relative, whatever)
I adopted my son when he was eight years old. I love him to the moon and back. I encourage folks to try the foster to adopt program, the rewards are well worth the challenge and you can make a difference in someone’s life.
