They got less then 50%, and the other votes were spread over multiple candidates. We can do this and save our city from Dingler and her ilk!

The “3 Amigos” ticket could be more accurately titled “the 3 stooges ticket”

Your “strong” is my weak. Hartman out spent his opponents 17 to 1 and even with Zander rallying the golf course people could only hit 46 percent? I don’t see people who voted other than Hartman switching to support him. Nothing is for certain but I for one am very encouraged. Now it’s time to go for all the marbles.

If Mr Hayes can reach accord with Mr Linn and gain his public and well advertised support while at the same time the public can be made aware of just how false and distasteful the rich guys’ campaign has been then there is a real chance of staving off the planned takeover and we won’t have to choke down “mr mayor” anytime soon because that is the plan for the near future and an exit by the current one would allow it. The public should be made aware of what is really going on here before it is too late. The same ongoing strategy in the other race will be more problematic but if those candidates really meant it when they said they wanted change they too could band together and change the numbers. Let us see if they really wanted to help or just wanted the title.

By the recorded numbers it appears that 2/3 of the registered voters in Ocean Shores couldn’t get up the energy to bother to vote. Is it apathy or a local Geritol shortage? I guess the old song is true; If you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything”. Come on folks, this is disgraceful!!!!!!!!

Hopefully the pitifully low voting turn out was because this vote “didn’t count” mentality keep some people from voting- we saw in the last mayoral election what voter apathy can cost….we got stuck with Dingler again by 3 votes…..which we can thank our Fire Department for. I for one will have to rethink my supportive position on the Fire Department….if they want to be a political action group we should treat them as such

Maybe we won’t have a packed council after all. Now vote out the incumbent in position #1.
