OSFD action plan

As posted on Facebook: “… please remember that there is a state wide burn ban including campfires in city limits and the beach. We will do our best to educate the public. We have increased our staffing levels this weekend to help keep our city safe.

July 2nd

  • 2 additional firefighters with Brush Engine patrol the beach from 12 noon – 10 Pm

July 3rd

Operational Period – 3PM to Midnight

Beach divided in a North and South Division
*2 Engines staged on approaches
*2 Hand crew vehicles on approaches
*Station Officer with 2 ALS & 1 BLS crews
*2 Brush engines patrol the Beaches
*1 Dozer on standby

July 4th

Operational Period – 3PM to Midnight

Beach divided into North and South Division
*2 Engines staged on approach
*2 Hand crew vehicles on approaches
*Station Officer with 2 ALS & 1 BLS crews
*2 Brush engines patrol the Beaches
*1 Dozer on standby

July 5th

2 additional firefighters with Brush Engine patrol the beach from
12 noon – 10 pm as needed

    Tom: What’s the status of beach fires and other restrictions at Atlantis City? You remember where it is? Just wondering if Atlantis City has the same rules as here jn Ocean Shores?
